Your First Visit
Here's exactly what to expect when you visit Kaya Thai Therapy.
Health Assessment
Before your first session, you'll complete a short consultation form covering your medical history, current conditions, pain points, and treatment goals. This is mandatory for your safety and helps us tailor the treatment to your needs.
Consultation with Your Therapist
Your therapist will review your form, assess your posture and areas of tension, and discuss the best treatment approach with you. This ensures we target exactly what your body needs.
Your Treatment
For Traditional Thai Massage, you'll remain fully clothed in comfortable clothing. For oil-based treatments, you'll be covered with towels throughout. Your therapist will check pressure levels regularly — you're always in control.
Aftercare
After your session, your therapist will provide specific aftercare advice: hydration, gentle stretching, and what to avoid. For chronic conditions, we may recommend a multi-session treatment plan.
What to Bring
- Comfortable, loose-fitting clothing (for Thai massage)
- Your completed health consultation form
- Any relevant medical notes or referrals
- An open mind — most of our clients are first-timers
What You Don't Need to Worry About
Do I need to be flexible?
Not at all. Thai massage meets you where you are. Your therapist will adapt every stretch to your current range of motion.
I've never had Thai massage before.
Most of our clients haven't. We'll explain everything as we go, and you can stop or adjust at any time.
